Welcome Home!

To: Me is a short vignette that requires the player to make progress by “being nice to people”.
However, being nice to yourself still counts as being nice to “people” right?

You are introduced to your gloomy and messy apartment, with grey-scaled monotonous furnishings and interior design;
A very visual representation of your life and mental wellbeing.

As you progress through the story, you enter a parallel universe where you are signaled to complete small maintenance tasks around your apartment.
Upon completion of each task, a part of the apartment lights up, and furniture is also tidied and recoloured.
This is to show progression in your story, in your life.

Waking up in a new realm is symbolic of you being inside your own mind, and maintaining your apartment is a way of unclogging internal stress.

To: Me aims to raise awareness for mental health and self-love, and how completing small achievable tasks helps improve that health.
This project recognises tasks that may seem trivial and expected from an individual in society, are actually challenging for those that are struggling in any aspect.
